Anand Srinivasan

CEO

Anand Srinivasan is the founder and the CEO of DSquare Solutions. Anand has deep and significant expertise and experience in Analytics and embedding analytics into business processes.

Anand began his career at Sabre Airline Solutions, building mathematical and optimization models for forecasting, pricing and revenue management and fleet assignment. He has successfully implemented these sophisticated decision support tools at major airlines worldwide. Anand was instrumental in setting up Sabre India operations and building out the analytical expertise for Sabre in India. Subsequent to that, Anand worked with Dell Analytics in the Financial Services domain, focusing on Risk Management and operations bringing analytical insights to areas like recoveries and collections of bad debt.

Anand currently also serves in the credentialing committee of INFORMS and is driving to build an analytical “Body of Knowledge” and a certification and credentialing process for Analytics professionals worldwide.

Anand holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras and a Masters degree in Operations Research from Purdue University.

Anand Srikumar

Director - Business Consulting

Anand Srikumar is a director with DSquare Solutions. Anand Srikumar’s skill sets include expertise in analytics driven retail banking portfolio management and business consulting.

Anand began his career as an Electrochemical engineer with stints in Lithium Energy Associates Inc. and Duracell (owned by Gillette then, P&G now) specializing in battery research. In these roles, he was responsible for fabrication and optimization of Lithium battery systems for both the retail and niche applications. Subsequently – after getting an MBA, Anand worked with GEMoneyBank in Germany managing two retail portfolios. He was one of the key members involved in setting up the off shore analytics and MIS team in Bangalore. Then Anand moved to Standard Chartered Bank India, where he pioneered the development and implementation of the bureau strategy in retail asset portfolio management. This was instrumental in SCB India portfolios having the lowest loss rates in the industry during the 2008-09 credit crisis. He was also a key member of due diligence teams in portfolio acquisition and sales.

Anand currently heads the business consulting unit with DSquare which involves combining analytics, finance and technology to quantify – and optimize – the value of IT investments for clients.

Director - Advanced Analytical Model Development

G A Sreevatsadhara Sarma (aka GASS) is an Electronics & communications engineer with MBA in finance from IIM Lucknow having  14+ years of experience across diverse functions such as corporate finance, consulting, project finance, analytics and pricing in power, water, telecom and ITeS sectors. In the last role prior to joining DSquare Solutions, GASS was CFO of WaterHealth India, a distributed water purification utility providing access to pure & safe water to underserved communities in India.
